Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring a friendly Cashier at our North Branch location. You will greet guests, operate the POS, assist with food prep, stock supplies, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

This role emphasizes guest connections, reliable attendance, and adherence to safety standards. We offer daily lunch, uniforms, PPE, training, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned food service company.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic to count money and make change.
• Understanding of basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

As a Cashier with Taher, Inc., you play one of the most important roles in delivering an exceptional guest experience. We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and happy people who enjoy making a connection with others.

In addition to running point of sale, you will assist the team in food prep, some light stocking, and cleaning. But most importantly, you will create meaningful interactions with our customers.

Essential Functions:

• Greet guests promptly with eye contact and a smile
• Maintains the point of sale, entering all items accurately and efficiently
• Assists in meal preparation including making salads, deli sandwiches, cleaning fresh fruits and vegetables etc.
• Stocks and prepares condiments and utensils
• Contributes to a positive work environment
• Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality
• Punctual and dependable
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
• Self-starter that can work independently
• Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership
