Job summary

Famous Dave's is hiring a To Go Specialist/Cashier to help guests at home or in the office with menu knowledge and orders. You will be punctual, assist teammates, and handle side duties such as bussing, cleaning, expediting, and running food.

Candidates should have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and prior restaurant experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred
• Excellent reading, writing and basic math skills are required
• Strong English and professional communication skills are required
• Ability to work well in a team and stay organized
• Commitment to quality service and food/beverage knowledge
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and staying calm under pressure
• Detail-oriented with the ability to use tablets and POS systems accurately

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and share knowledge of the menu to ensure a great experience
• Be punctual and support team members in a fast-paced environment
• Complete side duties such as bussing tables, cleaning workstations, expediting orders and running food
• Take orders via tablets/POS and handle phones with accuracy
• Maintain a friendly Famous Dave's attitude during busy periods
