Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain is seeking friendly cashiers to greet guests, operate registers, and assist with displays and cleaning. You will support daily tasks and help keep the store welcoming for customers.

The position requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; successful candidates will pass a background check and join a team that values diversity and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Must know merchandise and cash register operations and change-making.
• Able to work with people having different abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for the entire shift.
• Requires use of hands for grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility.
• Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Background check required; past convictions do not automatically bar employment.

Job description

Cashiers are responsible for greeting and assisting guests. Retail duties will include changing and maintaining displays, and helping to keep store neat and clean. Retail duties may also include assisting with the replenishment of stock and/or removing merchandise from the sales floor. Strives to meet daily sales goals. Performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW. Must be cross-trained and assist in all aspects of retail operations, as directed.

Required Skills
