Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information to customers, resolving any complaints. Your duties include following front end procedures, stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. You will maintain knowledge of weekly ads, direct customers to products, stay informed about store events, and communicate effectively with your manager and team. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly, and executing other duties as assigned are also part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs., and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and excellent cash handling skills.
