Job summary

Famous Dave's in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a To Go Specialist/Cashier to assist guests with menu choices and orders for home or office. You will handle the point-of-sale transactions accurately and maintain a friendly, efficient service mindset.

Training is provided and there are growth opportunities within the organization. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a high school diploma recommended.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities; working calmly under pressure and exercising good judgment.
• Ability to utilize tablets, point of sale equipment and telephones with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
