Job summary

Steve Madden in Livermore, CA seeks a part-time Cashier to deliver excellent customer service at the POS. You will greet customers, process sales, and maintain accurate cash handling while showing strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities include assisting with store operations, merchandising, and replenishing merchandise. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work day/evening/weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Cashier (P/T)

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.
