Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling customer payments, providing product information, resolving complaints, stocking shelves, facing and dusting, and maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and seminars. You will also communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier, ensure checkout areas are clean and organized, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to perform repetitive activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.

Pay Range

The pay range is $16.55 - $20.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
