Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide efficient, welcoming checkout experiences at our store. You will be the last touchpoint before customers leave, ensuring accuracy and great service as you process transactions and answer questions.

You’ll work with Meijer systems to complete purchases, handle payments, and build trust with customers. This position offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, paid education assistance, and team member discounts as part of our family-oriented

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Able to explain promotions and help customers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly checkout experiences.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash and other payments with precision and care.
• Answer questions and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized register area and storefront.
• Support store operations as needed to keep things running smoothly.
