Job Title: Cashier

Reports to: General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Leader

The cashier position is essential to the daily success of the restaurant. It is a guest-facing role, often the first point of contact beyond the welcoming greeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Participates in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
3. Excellent menu and product knowledge.
4. Responsible for the accuracy of guest orders.
5. Communicates effectively with guests, handling questions and concerns professionally.
6. Proficient in using the POS system.
7. Maintains accuracy of the cash drawer.
8. Team player.
9. Sincerely thanks guests for their business.
10. Maintains an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
11. Willing to perform other restaurant duties such as food preparation or cleaning as directed by management.
12. Adheres to all food safety and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
13. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
