Job summary

One World Market Indiana is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the first and last point of contact for customers, handling transactions and providing product information on Japanese groceries.

You will greet customers, operate the register, bag groceries, maintain a clean checkout area, and assist with stocking when needed. Prior retail experience is preferred, and an interest in Japanese food is a plus. This on-site role offers a welcoming team and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Interest in or familiarity with Japanese food and culture.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required.
