• Processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at checkouts.
• Understanding the POS system and handling various tenders and offers per company policy.
• Adhering to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Following guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Reporting pricing discrepancies and following policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Staying current with ads and promotions.
• Following food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with product questions and store navigation.
• Complying with all legal and company policies.
