Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete satisfaction through friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information to resolve customer complaints. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, guiding customers to products, and communicating effectively with management are essential. You must keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Display outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, ability to take direction, and work well in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and cash handling skills.
