Job Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the check lane.
  • Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and offers per company policy.
  • Adhere to cash handling limits, control loss, and follow guidelines on restricted sale items.
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by providing product information and assistance.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
