Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Front of House Team Member in our Glendale, AZ location. You will join a team delivering scratch-made breads, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches using honest, whole ingredients.

A successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong listening skills, and enjoy helping guests choose meals and gift items for both new and returning customers.

Qualifications

• A 'can do' attitude with the ability to actively listen to guests and confidently suggest meal and gift items to first-time guests and regulars.
• The ability to work quickly, learn from mistakes, and help other departments when needed.

Responsibilities

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for an enthusiastic Front of House Team Member who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, & community as we are! In the role of Front of House Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Front of House Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to actively listen to guests & the confidence to suggest meal & gift items to first time guests & returning regulars
• The ability to work quickly, learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Front of House Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years customer service/serving experience (preferred, not required!)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Front of house Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 10pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
• You must be at least 18 years of age to be qualified for this position**
