Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information and resolve complaints. Your duties include assisting with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, guiding customers to products, and keeping checkout areas clean and organized. You will also communicate effectively with managers and team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly personality, a positive attitude, and good customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, ability to follow directions, work in a team, and perform multitasking efficiently.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs., and moving grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficient in math, and capable of reading, writing, and counting.
