JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand as the first point of contact for Guests. This role manages all takeout orders, accurately enters orders into the Point of Sale System, and collects payments.

Cashier/Greeter: Make a great first impression with each Guest. Greet hungry sports fans like they are part of our team. Be energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings guests through our doors. This role involves multitasking, such as managing takeout orders, assisting guests, and creating a welcoming environment. Always invite guests to return and be part of our team again.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After 12 months, if you average 30 or more hours weekly, you may be eligible for company medical benefits. Full-time hours are typically 36 to 40 hours per week.

• Provide a friendly welcome to guests and ensure timely seating.
• Participate in company programs such as Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS, following standards including ID checks for anyone who looks under 40.
• Follow proper phone etiquette and answer calls professionally.
• Bus tables, deliver food, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete daily tasks.
• Respond to customer concerns and involve management when necessary.
• Engage with guests to create a personalized experience.
• Handle payments, manage cash drawer, and process credit card transactions.
• Use menu knowledge to suggest items and upsell.
• Enter takeout orders accurately into the POS system.
• Bag and check takeout orders for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the cashier area.
• Thank guests and solicit feedback, expressing hope for their return.
• Assist with prep, portioning, expo, and food running as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
