JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand as a first point of contact for Guests. This role is responsible for managing takeout orders, accurately entering orders into the Point of Sale System, and collecting payments.

Cashier/Greeter: Make a great first impression with each Guest. Greet hungry sports fans like they are part of our team. You should be energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings Guests through our doors. This position involves multitasking: from finding the right spot for a Little League team celebrating their win to managing takeout orders and assisting Guests with payments. You will be "on deck" to help as needed throughout the Guests' visit, and before they leave, invite them back to be part of our team again.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After a 12-month review, if you average 30 or more hours per week, you will be eligible for company medical benefits. The expected hours for a full-time role are 36 to 40 hours per week.

• Provide a friendly welcome to Guests and ensure timely seating.
• Participate in the Company’s Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow the BARS program standard: "Must ID anyone who looks under 40 years of age." Check IDs to ensure Guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Follow proper phone etiquette and answer calls according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards.
• Bus tables, deliver food, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete daily tasks.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns and involve a manager when necessary.
• Engage with Guests to create a personalized experience and make genuine connections.
• Handle payments, manage the cash drawer, and process credit card transactions.
• Use menu knowledge to make suggestions and upsell.
• Enter takeout orders accurately into the Point of Sale system.
• Bag and manage takeout orders, checking for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, practicing proper safety and sanitation.
• Thank Guests as they leave, solicit feedback on their experience, and express hope they will return.
• Assist with prep and portioning tasks.
• Help with expo window and food running duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
