Job Summary:

The Shack Restaurants Cashier provides world-class service. The role of a Cashier entails providing friendly, responsive service to create a spectacular to-go experience for all our guests. Cashiers are required to be welcoming and warm when greeting our guests upon arrival. The restaurant cashier is responsible for interacting with customers and accepting payment for products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Take customer orders at the counter or by phone.
• Receive payments and present change to customers as needed.
• Pack orders as needed.
• Function as a host.
• Receive food checks from servers or guests.
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash transactions.
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for Hostess require obtaining Food Handlers certification, must be 16 years of age or older, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
