Job summary

The Salvation Army Edmond Store is seeking a friendly cashier to assist customers, operate the cash register, and balance daily receipts. You’ll maintain clean, orderly displays and help with donations, while ensuring security of the cash register area.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED; prior retail experience is preferred. On-site training will be provided, with duties including answering phones and assisting donors and shoppers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Retail store experience preferred.

Respond to customers questions and assist customers who are donating items. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays. Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area; secure merchandise and the cash register. Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and help maintain overall cleanliness of store.
