Job summary

The Salvation Army store seeks a front-line associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, and maintain a neat, secure, and inviting sales floor. You will balance cash, prepare receipts, and assist with bank deposits and donations.

Responsibilities include ensuring clean displays, answering calls professionally, and providing friendly service to shoppers and donors alike. Prior retail exposure and a high school diploma are preferred.

Respond to customers questions and assist customers who are donating items. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays. Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area; secure merchandise and the cash register. Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and help maintain overall cleanliness of store.
