What You'll Do:

As a Cashier, you'll be at the front line of customer service, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
• Efficient Transactions: Scan items, process sales accurately, and handle cash with care.
• Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to ensure they arrive in good condition.
• Stay Informed: Be aware of current promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain Order: Keep your register area neat and stocked with supplies.
• Communication: Relay guest requests to leadership to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Standards: Meet quality and quantity standards, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
• Teamwork: Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage and serve guests effectively.
• Retail Experience: Experience processing transactions and handling cash/register operations.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately for precise transactions.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all necessary equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. Dexterity and coordination are necessary for equipment operation. Ability to lift and move merchandise and fixtures is required. Work hours may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Schedule:

The position offers flexible part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your availability.
