Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Cashier/Checker is responsible for being visible and actively greeting, engaging and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle various tenders, and adhere to company policies.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items and report pricing discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety, food safety, and legal regulations.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and support a safe store environment.
• Manage conflict professionally and act with integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills
