Lake of the Pines Association in Northern California is accepting applications for a part-time Cashier at our Sports Lounge Restaurant, open daily 11-8 and 11-9 Fri-Sat. Must be 18+ and have open availability for cashier shifts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, answering questions, fulfilling take-out orders, and maintaining cleanliness around the cashier station.

Qualifications

• Six months related experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older due to California alcohol serving requirements.
• Maintain flexible schedule and be able to work daytime, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain current Food Handlers Certificate.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and follow directions from management.
• Demonstrated cash handling capabilities and ability to count back change.

• Welcome and interact with all guests at the Sports Lounge restaurant.
• Greet guests with a warm smile, take orders, enter into POS, verify orders.
• Receive and process payments following cash and credit card handling guidelines.
• Answer phones, fulfill take-out orders, and provide event information.
• May assemble orders and present to guests, serve food, and clear tables.
• Maintain cleanliness at cashier station and dining areas; restock as needed.
• Alert kitchen staff if food quality is substandard or spoilage occurs.
• Respond to guest requests and manage guest complaints as necessary.
• Attend scheduled meetings and support team with daily operations.

Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association (LOP) is accepting applications for the position of Cashier. Must be 18 years of age or older due to California alcohol serving requirements. This position is at our Sports Lounge Restaurant, which is open daily from 11-8pm Sunday-Thursday and 11-9pm Friday-Saturday. Must have open availability for Cashier shifts.Lake of the Pines is a 2,000-home gated private community located in the foothills of Northern California between the towns of Auburn and Grass Valley. Among its numerous amenities, the community boasts of a 230-acre private lake and a 19-hole golf course as two of its prime amenities. This is a part time hourly position with a salary range of $16.90 - $19.22 per hour. Benefits include sick leave after initial eligibility requirements are met as well as facility use privileges including swimming pool, beaches, parks, tennis and discounted meals. Pre-employment background search (if applicable) required following conditional offer of employment.Required Duties and Responsibilities:Welcome and interact with all guests at the Sports Lounge restaurant.Greet guests with warm smile and pleasant demeanor and take orders, enter into POS system correctly and verify order by repeating back to guest. Suggest additional items as appropriate.Receive and process payments following cash and credit card handling guidelines.Maintain constant interaction with guests including answering questions, providing directions and event information, and other services to help create a GREAT dining experience.Answer phones with polite and professional attitude and fulfill take out orders and provide answers to questions.May assemble orders and present to guests according to recipe guidelines.Serve food to guests and remove dirty dishes when patrons are finished eating.Ensure food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards.
