Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS systems and handle various tenders and offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and control loss effectively.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Comply with food safety, safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.35 per hour.
