Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time seasonal Cashier for events at Truist Field in Charlotte. The role performs cashiering duties, handling cash and card transactions, and ensuring accurate receipts and cash reports.

The position runs seasonally from April to September, with on-site responsibilities and duties including maintaining sanitation standards and delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Performs cashiering duties including cash and credit transactions.
• Counts cash receipts and completes cash reports.
• Maintains sanitation standards and safety procedures.
• Interacts with customers to resolve issues in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the point-of-sale system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Accepts declining balance cards and other forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is a seasonal, event based role, with a duration from April-September.

Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash and credit transactions, verifying payment, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation and service of concession facilities.

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.

• Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.

Qualifications

Must possess or able to obtain valid alcohol servers' permit.
