Job summary

High Flying Foods is seeking a Cashier for the Nixtaco/Bawk Restaurant at SMF International Airport. You will greet guests, enter orders, and process payments in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

We offer $21.00/hour plus tips, free parking, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with a 5% match. This role requires open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a cashier or barista in food service.
• Strong customer service and cash-handling skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• A valid Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately enter orders and process payment
• Ensure all orders are delivered to the customer in a timely manner
• Count in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive customer experience and workplace efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols intended to keep team members and customers safe
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer to management when applicable
• Properly stock, and maintain station and cleaning duties as assigned by store management
• Other duties as assigned
