Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver exceptional customer experiences while handling cash and processing various payment methods. The role requires standing and walking as part of daily duties, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 8pm.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be fluent in English, and comfortable using cash registers and related office equipment.

Position Summary

Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently and meeting company practices for revenue control. They work directly with customers and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-8pm

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in making purchases.
• Provide customer service and make exceptional guest experiences the priority in every transaction.
• Process transactions: cash, credit cards, checks, and validation transactions based on location parking rates and requirements
• Use a radio to call the garage if the transaction must be processed manually.
• Document all transactions following company policy via shift report.
• Be accountable for all cash received, tendered, and disposition of such payment according to the money drop procedure.
• Calculate and return change to customers.
• Ensure that the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area every shift.
• Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

Years of Experience: Entry Level

Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written

Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED

Requirements:

• Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English

• Possess the manual dexterity to operate essential office equipment, including computers and cash registers
• Possess the mental ability to be able to process cash and manual transactions
