Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Essential Job Functions:

• Be visible and actively greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle various tenders and adhere to company policies regarding sales and cash handling.
• Understand and follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Follow food safety and safety procedures, report unsafe conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer product questions, and assist customers.
• Comply with all laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and support diverse customer needs.
