Job summary

Campero USA Corp. is seeking a Front of House Team Member, Cashier, to guide guests through the menu, take accurate orders, and process POS transactions with great care.

This role requires bilingual English and Spanish communication, the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced restaurant. You will join a friendly team focused on quick, friendly service and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be fluent in English & Spanish.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles.
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
• Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests on each visit and guiding them through the menu.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items to suggest meals and answer questions.
• Verify orders for accuracy, manage to-go orders, and process POS transactions with cash handling procedures.
• Operate cash register and count money accurately.
• Count register with management before/after each shift to prevent discrepancies.
• Assist with front line food preparation such as packaging and taking orders to tables.
• Provide quick, efficient service and quality products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with team in a busy restaurant environment.

The Front of House Team Member, Cashier’s responsibility is to provide an unforgettable experience for our customers thru guiding them around the menu and supporting them in completing an order that fits their needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming new and repeat guests every visit
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
• Verify each guest order for accuracy, manage “to-go” orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
• Operate cash register and must be able to count money and give change correctly
• Count register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage
• Assist with front line food preparation procedures such as packaging and take orders to tables
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products
• Must be able to work with others and communicate effectively in a busy restaurant environment
• Follows and abides all safety rules, policies, and procedures
