ABOUT THIS POSITION :

The Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth is seeking candidates for a Cashier position in our Cashiers Division. The Cashiers Division is responsible for processing and reconciling daily revenue transactions with various divisions within the office.

REPRESENTATIVE TASKS :

· Reconcile daily revenue with receipt slips, cash box and reports for the various office divisions;

· Prepare and assist in the preparation of the daily deposit;

· Process electronic payments;

· Process all documents and checks daily;

· Record returned payments and ensure that the payee is notified;

· Record all replacement payments in the billing program and prepare a separate deposit;

· Maintenance of all documents and files;

· Research of payment records;

· Assist in the day to day operations of the division such as answering phones, responding to general inquires through email and assisting walk-in customers;

· Any other related duties may be required.
