Role Overview

The Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring all transactions comply with company revenue control practices. The cashier plays a crucial role in positive customer interactions, handling financial transactions accurately, maintaining the cash drawer, and engaging with customers to address their needs and questions with a positive attitude.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Greet customers politely at the cash register and during transactions.
2. Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and adhere to cash handling policies.
3. Be familiar with menu items and pricing to assist customers effectively.
4. Keep the cashier station organized, neat, and clean.
5. Stock service areas with necessary supplies.
6. Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and make deposits under supervision.
7. Distribute promotional materials and loyalty rewards as needed.
8. Assist in kitchen, food court, or dining areas during downtime.
9. Report safety hazards immediately to management.
10. Perform repetitive motions as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).

• Ability to stand for long periods and walk short distances.
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and cash registers.
