Job summary

7th Street Burger is seeking a positive and enthusiastic Cashier who loves to serve and lead. This role involves handling high-volume transactions, inputting orders into POS systems, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Food handler certification is strongly preferred but not required.
• Creates an engaging welcoming environment for customers.
• Previous experience in customer service and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Count the register - open and closing
• Close out the register at night
• Accurately input customer orders into the POS system
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness on counter and in garbage areas
• Communicate and work closely with the cooks to ensure order accuracy
• Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow
