REPORTS TO: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing job; often the first touch point beyond the “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Excellent menu and product knowledge.
3. Accountable for the accuracy of the guest’s order.
4. Effective communication with guests and handling questions and concerns professionally.
5. Proficient use of the POS system.
6. Accurate cash drawer management.
7. Team player attitude.
8. Sincerely thank guests for their business.
9. Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
10. Maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
11. Willingness to perform other restaurant functions such as food prep or cleaning as directed by management.
12. Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all food and safety guidelines.
13. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
