Job Summary

Performs cashier duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters all sales into the register for accurate recording.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Interacts with customers, resolving complaints in a friendly manner.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
8. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness.
9. Keeps pastry case stocked.
10. Follows service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Complies with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
