• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
