Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)

- Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet, engage, and assist customers visibly and actively.
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to policy.
- Adhere to cash handling limits and work to control loss.
- Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
- Report pricing discrepancies.
- Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
- Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions.
- Comply with food safety regulations.
- Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
- Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs.
- Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
- Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
- Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
- Support customers with special needs, including minors and older adults.
