Essential Job Functions:

1. Greet, engage, and assist customers actively.
2. Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
3. Understand and operate the POS system, handling various tenders and offers according to policy.
4. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
5. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
6. Report pricing discrepancies.
7. Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
8. Stay current with ads and promotions.
9. Comply with food safety regulations.
10. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
13. Follow all laws and company guidelines.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
15. Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
