Municipal Management Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air Ground Ambulance, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Full-time Cashier to perform the duties of cashier at the Village of Bellwood.

The Responsibilities of the Finance Department Cashier of this position is clerical, and is responsible for the receiving and recording of cash payments and other duties as follows

• Responsible for receiving and maintaining records of a large volume of cash receipts for payments of bills, fees, or taxes for various village departments.
• Issuance of receipts for funds collected, application and knowledge of departmental procedures, rules relating to payments, making change, maintenance of simple bookkeeping, records of work transactions, deposit of cash and reconciliation, and money receipts.
• Operating cash registers, computers, check endorsers, validating machines, and other office equipment such as calculators.
• Explains billing and charges to those making payments based on knowledge of department rules and regulations. Makes change as necessary by operation of cash register and computerized equipment.
• Answers telephone inquiries to standard charges.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with some water meter reading experience. Must be able to perform basic math calculations; have the ability to read, record, and accurately enter water meter readings. Current driver’s license with good driving record is required. Preference may be given to Bellwood residents that have the required qualifications.
