Role Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) according to company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay updated on current ads.
• Comply with food safety and safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with inquiries about products.
• Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
