Responsibilities include:

• Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently at check lanes.
• Handling various tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, etc.) according to company policy.
• Adhering to cash handling limits and loss prevention procedures.
• Following guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Reporting pricing discrepancies and following policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Staying current with promotional ads.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers and assisting with product questions.
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Following directions and seeking assistance when needed.
