Are you looking for a position where you can utilize your military medical technician skills? Do you have at least 3 years of healthcare-related experience? If so, and you're eager to support a major DoD client, we invite you to consider applying for this position.


ABOUT THIS ROLE


St. Michael's is hiring a Comprehensive Assessment and Symptom History Technician to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Our core value of Commitment emphasizes your ability and desire to achieve excellence, which will help the client reach their goals.


LOCATION


MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL


WHO YOU ARE


  • High School Diploma.
  • Military or comparable training may fulfill the education requirement. Military-trained candidates must have a specialty as a technician in a medical field, with applicable training including a foundation in psychology and/or cognitive science.
  • At least 3 years of healthcare-related experience.
  • At least 5 years of Special Operations experience.
  • Minimum of one year of full-time experience in conducting face-to-face standardized interviews within the last 3 years, preferably documenting personal histories and/or medical information.
  • Proficient with collaborative tools (Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and basic office equipment.
  • Strong team coordination, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and software for data collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to design and present computer-generated outcome analysis reports for project briefings.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Previous Business Intelligence experience is highly desirable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Conduct standardized assessments and structured cognitive interviews, such as NSI-MBIAS, PSQI, PCL-5.
  • Identify exposures and mechanisms experienced during military training and operations.
  • Gather information from service members and families to identify potential impacts and symptoms related to exposures (blast, impact, etc.) throughout a military career.
