Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Specialist to manage daily cash transactions and support financial operations. You will ensure accurate recording of payments, investigate discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company procedures.

The role involves processing payments, reconciling cash activity, and coordinating with accounting teams to support month-end closings and forecasting. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting, cash application, or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments, wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks.
• Reconcile daily cash activity and bank statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and support collections activities.
• Prepare cash reports and assist with forecasting.
• Coordinate with accounting, accounts receivable, and treasury teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Process and post customer payments, wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks


• Reconcile daily cash activity and bank statements


• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation


• Monitor outstanding balances and support collections activities


• Prepare cash reports and assist with forecasting


• Coordinate with accounting, accounts receivable, and treasury teams


• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies


• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities


• Communicate with customers and banks regarding payment issues
