Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Clerk - Drop Count to prepare cash for processing, generate reports, and verify figures in accordance with policy. The role requires reliable data handling, accurate counting, and adherence to security protocols within a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include operating counting machinery, math calculations, data entry, and supporting management with report preparation. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain/maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration or other required licenses.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Clear and effective English communication, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verify count information using soft count machinery.
• Operate calculator efficiently.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
• Process information according to guidelines or procedures.
• Compile data and prepare reports or summarize results.
• Perform mathematical calculations to determine actions or records.
• Classify, store, retrieve, and update information.
• Search for and investigate information in files.
