Job summary

Accel Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Handling Specialist in Wheeling, IL to process currency collections and replenish ATM/Redemption machines. You will ensure vault accountability, perform cash reconciliations, and maintain accurate cash ledgers while coordinating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in cash handling, proficiency in Excel, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Must have 2-3 years cash handling experience.
Previous bank/casino teller experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and in teams.
Flexible with changing priorities.
Must be 21 years of age.
Able to obtain Illinois Terminal Handler License.

Responsibilities

Process and verify currency counts; maintain vault accountability and inventory levels.
Data entry of cash receipts including coding and filing.
Daily/monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
Communicate with customers, field, and other departments.
Manage timely and accurate processing of cash collections.
Count, pack, and unpack currency; seal/unseal bags.
Perform basic accounting and counting tasks.
Daily reporting of variances to Processing Supervisor and Director.
Use Cash Logistic System for operations.
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
