Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Guest Service Clerk to supervise and provide guests with the fastest and most pleasant checkout experience through consistent execution of Lowes Foods’ Guest Service Standards. Perform all functions associated with sales related assets.

This role includes cash handling, invoice processing, deposits, scheduling, and ensuring No Noticeable Wait policies are followed. Candidates should be comfortable with math, stand for long periods, and work well with others.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and provide guest service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light loads.
• Strong math skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with front-end operations and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation.
• Maintain sales related information.
• Process invoices and transfers as assigned.
• Process beer/wine payments.
• Prepare bank deposits according to policy.
• Handle and oversee cashier-related activities.
• Ensure daily cash count accuracy.
• Process guest needs such as money orders, stamps, lottery tickets, etc.
• Process returned checks according to policy.
• Maintain cash office security and supplies.
• Monitor and audit front-end activities and shifts.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to ensure service level.
• Process guest orders to follow No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
