Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Charlotte, NC to oversee daily accounting operations and month-end close. You will ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and strong internal controls while mentoring staff and driving process improvements.

The role collaborates with auditors and multiple departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and accurate financial statements. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with process improvement and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain and enforce strong internal control environment to mitigate risks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
