Job summary

CRC Group in the United States seeks an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across AP, AR, and GL. You will lead month-end close, drive process improvements, and mentor staff while coordinating with auditors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities, and proficiency in ERP systems and GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing direction, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses for management.
  • Maintain and enforce strong internal control environment to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate across departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial activities.

Job description

  • Experience with process improvement and workflow optimization.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Additional accounting or finance-related certifications are a plus.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process improvements.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and ERP platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
