Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce is a leading private produce distributor serving Texas, Georgia, and Florida with year-round deliveries. The Cash Application Specialist will accurately apply customer payments and reconcile accounts in a high-volume environment.

The role supports Accounts Receivable and requires experience in cash posting, payment discrepancies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate cash application.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cash application or AR experience.
• Experience in high-volume transaction environments preferred.
• Food distribution, produce, wholesale, or logistics sector experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments via ACH, wire, lockbox, checks, and cards.
• Research unapplied cash, short/overpayments, and deductions.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate application to invoices.
• Review remittance advice and match to invoices.
• Collaborate with Collections, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounting to resolve issues.
