The Cash Application Specialist manages the daily preparation and application of all incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card payments; Post short payments, overpayments, and prepayments.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Hourly: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Monitor payments email box. Process charges and refunds.
  • Gather payment and deduction details through various customer portals.
  • Investigate checks rejected by the bank, credit card chargebacks, offsets, refunds, and reconciliation.
  • Manage credit card portal
  • Create and maintain daily accounting packets for electronic storage
Qualifications

You have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years cash application experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
  • Excel proficiency required.
