You will research discrepancies, reconcile cash activity, maintain supporting documentation, and work with AR, Billing, Treasury, and Project Accounting to keep customer accounts precise.

The role emphasizes processing payments (ACH, wire, checks, card), handling unapplied cash, and supporting month-end close with strong attention to detail and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• One+ years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, accounting, or related function preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity or project-based organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately to the correct accounts, invoices, projects and entities.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash promptly.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank activity and general ledger.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for cash receipts, adjustments, transfers, refunds and write-offs.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Billing, Treasury, and General Ledger teams.
