Citigroup in Getzville, NY is seeking an entry-level Cash & Trade Operations Associate Analyst to assist on projects related to cash management with the Transaction Services team. The role focuses on ensuring transactions are completed accurately and on time, while supporting various internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include monitoring processes, documenting issues, aiding transition and stabilization of operations, and providing guidance to new team members.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience is expected.
• Demonstrated cash and trade operations knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; data entry comfort.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls.
• Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed.
• Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions.
• Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects.
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required.
• Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed.
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting on any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team.
